When Matoaka’s inquiry popped into my inbox I literally yelled from excitement. We went to university together and hadn’t been in touch for a few years, so the fact that I popped up on her instagram feed after her and her partner Eli got engaged was fate! They wanted a casual, laid back session at the Mount Auburn Cemetery and I was like “yes, absolutely!”. While a cemetery might not be the first place people think of for an engagement photo shoot, the Mount Auburn Cemetery is a stunning vast location with dozens of beautiful trees and nature spots. Plus, I’m a little spooky by nature so I’ll never say no to a location like this.
